Schnol's theorem and spectral properties of massless Dirac operators with scalar potentials

ABSTRACT.  We show that the point spectrum of massless Dirac operators with suitable scalar 
potentials is confined to small sets which can easily be characterised 
in terms of properties of the potentials. 
Furthermore, we prove that a Schnol'-type theorem holds for massless Dirac 
operators under minimal assumptions on the potential, and use this result to 
conclude that the spectrum of a certain class of such operators covers the whole 
real line.
