Abstract. An asymptotic formula for a rich family of
eigenvalues of the periodic magnetic Schr\"{o}dinger operator is
constructed in the high-energy region. Model functions, which
solve the equation for eigenfunctions approximately are described
explicitly. It is shown that the system of model functions is
almost orthogonal and form a rich subspace in $L_2(R^d)$.
