Abstract. We study the classical limit of large, weakly interacting systems of non-relativistic bosons. For a certain class of states, the dynamics of such systems in the classical limit is given by solutions of a non-linear Hartree equation. A Newtonian (point-particle) limit of solutions of the non-linear Hartree equation is constructed for systems with attractive two-body interactions.
