Molecular localization induced by collisions

ABSTRACT.  We consider a periodically driven double well potential as a dynamical 
model for molecular localization induced by collisions. If the frequency 
of the collisions is high enough, we have effective localization, due to 
the larger instability of one of the metastable states. We show also that 
the red shift effect of the inversion line can be given by this model.
