An alternative to the Schwarzschild solution

ABSTRACT.  We propose an alternative to the famous Schwarzschild solution to Einstein field equations which arises from a different physical hypothesis. In this solution, which works for the external geometry of a spherical static star and circumnavigates the Birkhoff Theorem, Black-Hole Singularities are removed at the classical level, i.e. without arguments of quantum gravity.
