On Non-Degenerate Hamiltonian Hopf Bifurcations in 3DOF Systems

ABSTRACT.  We give a short review of available methods to
determine the non-degeneracy of Hamiltonian Hopf bifurcations in
three-degree-of-freedom systems. We illustrate the geometric
method to more detail, using the example of the Lagrange top.
