ABSTRACT.  This is a summary of results based upon [2,4,5,3] outlining 
how Gibbs measures can be associated with Nelson's massless
scalar field model in its Euclidean representation. These
Gibbs measures will be used for deriving qualitative properties
of the Fock space ground state.
