Marius Mantoiu, Mihai Pascu Perturbations of magnetic Schrodinger operators (368K, Postscript) ABSTRACT. We study 3-dimentional magnetic Schrodinger operators. We assume that the magnetic field B = B0 + B' where B0 is a very general field having constant direction. The perturbation B' and the electric potential V will be small in a certain sense in the direction B0, but in the orthogonal plane they may even grow for certain fields B0. Commutator methods are used to derive spectral properties of the Hamiltonian.
