Solutions to the mean curvature equation for nonparemetric surfaces by fixed point methods

ABSTRACT.  We study the existence of solutions for the equation of prescribed mean 
curvature when the surface is the graph of $u:\overline{\Omega }\longrightarrow 
R$, with mean curvature $H(x,y,u(x,y))$. 
We give conditions on the boundary data in order to obtain at least one 
solution for 
the quasilinear Dirichlet problem (1) below, with $H$ a given continuous 
function.
